Its very small Ariel, about 3/4 of A4 size, so i didnt have much room for details on the skin or a skin texture for that matter, and i didnt do almost anything on her face, just left her features untouched and played a bit with the colors. I think all the amount of details i bothered with was over the grass and her hair.

Well you know what? I admit i liked the ref very much so. The shape of her face, the hair and the features. But the colors were...meh
I had to do something about it. And you know how much i love my strong colors...let alone the fact, if she was in Greece this is the kind of sunlight she would have!
So i didnt do anything inappropriate, i only adjusted her to my climate!!
(okay i slightly changed her expression too...
jokes aside, its so much fun to change all colors in a ref. Its a process that always leaves me with a huge smile on my face!

She is a pleasure to look at my dear. I find her to be a bit different from some of your portraits in that she is very softly drawn, and as such has a bit of a pastel quality about the look of her. I really like this style for her, and how you have upped all of the tones of her skin and her hair to make her look "Sun Kissed". One thing you have done here that I think is very clever is how you have adjusted her expression ever so subtly. As a result I don't see a little girl but rather a young woman with a small clue of how she will control the world around her to do her bidding.

I am not surprised ofc that you can see what i have done but then tried to hide it!
The initial title would be 'Woman hatching' but i changed my mind for the title and it became 'Sun Kissed' ^^
I did change her expression, no woman is young enough not to know how to control the world around her, and break a couple of male hearts too!

Well I studied the reference and your piece before I commented on this and the difference in her expression really struck me, I think you accomplished most of this with the way you have drawn her lips and her eyes.
"Woman hatching" would be exactly what I saw here, and to be honest I think that is a better title for this piece. In looking at her right now it almost seems to me that her hair has a life of it's own, and if the right young boy gets too close it will encircle him, and pull him in for a quick kiss.
I do see your colours here for sure, and the glow of her face is quite sun kissed for sure. The overall feel is so soft, but her look is so sharp, it creates an interesting contrast to the viewer.
There is definitely a beautiful representation of your Greek sunlight there, the warm hues, and vibrant tones are very inviting indeed.
