Hello DeviantArt, my has it been a while... is anyone still out there?I have too many Mass Effect feelings.
So I actually finished this painting two years ago. I had just finished playing the trilogy for the first time and was overwhelmed with the feels. But I kept psyching myself out about posting it, saying there was just one or two more things I wanted to fix. But in those two years I never fixed anything, and I'm uploading it now almost exactly the same way it looked back then. So many of my pieces end up that way, half-finished, nearly-finished-but-never-posted, etc. It's high time I uploaded something for once, and what better time than now.
Mass Effect immediately became one of my all time favorite game franchises, perhaps even THE favorite (sorry Halo). It is absolutely revolutionary in its depth, story, and design. I was drawn to the Kaidan x Shep romance from the beginning, and played that way through the entire trilogy. My heart bleeds for the ending. So please, enjoy this painting, share in my pain, and let me know what you think.
Also what are backgrounds? I used these paintbrushes from the wonderful Sunira to help.

I know what you feel. I love Mass Effect, it has the best story of all time. I cried a lot at the end of the game and I cry when I hear songs from the game. I always choosed Kaidan for romance, he has deep emotions. Its bad to see, that he left alone, without Shepard. I always feel sorry for him. 😭😭😭
