I'll read that article soon but I wanted to drop a line to say I too follow physics and have for years now as well as well versed on the Higgs boson or God particle the massive large Hadron collide near Geneva. I personally think that the very building of the major instrument is the greatest engineering feet ever accomplished by mankind. I'll give you a response about that article soon when I can set aside some time but wanted to say thanks and how odd it is to meet someone interested in physics but especially on the Quantum level too. nice work.

I'm not convinced that video acts as proof of it for this reason. There is NOTHING we can name in science or medicine that was true a few years ago that is still true today. Every single medical fact we thought we knew for certain is replaced by new knowledge every 20 years like clock work. We look at those two fields for example and think how primitive and medieval we were with each cycle of new knowledge that just simply fell apart under further scrutiny and I don't see that fact changing anytime soon. The way we think of this universe will be primitive in our understanding the next 20 years alone, and in 30 years we'll not recognize medicine and be embarrassed at to how we treated people.
That said.....I do think you're on the right path and perhaps what we think is part of what our reality is as well. That of course is totally great for people with good parents that shaped their thinking in positive ways and yet just brutally un-fair to those of us with the worst parents that simply loved drugs and alcohol far more than the children in front of them.
I can't prove it of course, but I do see and hear great deals of anecdotal stories that make me think the next world can co-exist right next to this one but really...who knows.
I simply look at nature and animals and the great out-doors and wonder how anyone can think this was all an accident of random events that brought it all into being.
To me it resoundingly smacks of a divine author that wrote the books on this universe and not much was left to chance. The fact that most everything can be explained by a mathematical equation says volumes to me but to to others I guess it goes all but un-noticed it seems.
I don't have to pick the correct answer as to whether it's evolution or creation because that one is easy to me. God in his wisdom created a system that relies a great deal on evolution to survive so both of those processes are the engines that drive the planet seems to me to be the right answer.
It has always been a fundamental part of my thinking that according to second law of thermodynamics in a closed system things migrate naturally to a less organized system rather than one of more certainty like the one we live in. Things get less defined and tend to deteriorate rather than develop more organization so that tells me a power beyond ours is at work in all of life. Every particle seems to hold more information about the universe than can be conceived and acts in accordance to it's observer and that cannot just simply happen on it's own.
I say that, and then my face turns red as I too am mystified by the fact that God is so powerful that he CREATED himself out of nothing. I'll never ever ever see how that's possible but of course my intellect is no match with those that are really smart or have an IQ of over room temperature. I'm less that laughable in the scheme of things, so I have no chance at seeing the hows and whys of creation, so all I do is HOPE I'm right and God will let me see the answers one day in heaven.
I'm told by those that have entered heaven and traveled back in near death experiences that for the first time they feel perfectly at peace and see all of the universe as all working out perfectly and justice is real for once in their lives. A peace that is un-recognizable and I long for that day as I've never felt that way ever in my life..
I must go now but thanks so much and I hope the next life is better than this to be honest as everything has been so much of a struggle in my life from birth. Rotten parents is a gift that keeps on giving all your life.
I wish for you a life of nothing but blessings and kindness always as my perception is that you try to bring that life to others along the way also.
Peace out .denn.

Hi arteater1 been out of roulation thanks to the flu for a few days so sorry I couldn't answer you sooner. Of cause itś not quite true that there is nothing in science that is the same. Rather we build on fundamental knowledge already handed to us by people like Da Vinci or Isaac Newton. Progress doesn't mean per definition replacement but often is amendment. Science like quantum mechanics is hard to understand. In fact some people like you to think that when you say you understand it you don't . Yet here I disagree strongly as sometimes this 'new knowledge' seems just to familiar with knowledge already around for many centuries. Things like entanglement are the rudimentary philosophy of sjamanaism and other nature based religions.
I have no idea why later the concept of a God was floated. But scientifically I cannot discover a shred of proof that there would be one. At the same time I cannot proof that there isn't one. So scientifically the way to go about this is IMHO the agnostic stance. Sure atheist can shout a lot about burden of proof. But that's not really constructive. Now most important here I think you are arguing there is a god because we live in a system that improves rather then deteriorates. If so the basic implications of that would be that there is no entropy and therefor there is no such thing as free will. It's a dogma I encounter often when I see discussions between religious people and atheists. But what it really shows is a lack of understanding of these laws of themodynamic and the world and science as we know it. Entropy is real. Decay is real. And there is strong indication now that free will exist. www.quantamagazine.org/2017020…
But most intriguing to me has always been the question why people need a god so badly. And quite honestly the only explanation I can come up with is that they are lazy. They want reward for being good, they want to punish people for being bad. They want to be comforted. IMHO this keeps most people from being a moral and caring human being. (Yes the argument religion uses against atheists) . I had a rough life. Been through piles of shit and the only thing that kept me going was the knowledge there where people of much worse then me. I learned that only we our self can do what we hope from divine intervention. That love must come from our self, that responsibility must come from our self. And funny enough with the realization of science and the mechanics of our existence eventually I cannot come to any other conclusion that everything is connected. And If you then want to state that that proves there is a god and that he has created himself my obvious question is so why again a god. Why cant our existance self have created it self? Or even better was it ever created or has it always existed? www.corespirit.com/no-big-bang…
True peace we can only find in ourself. In that I much adopt the Budhist principle that all suffering starts by expectation. That said, if you want to talk parents I am always available. But lets do that in a note then. Keep up spirit and fight. Your live makes an impact on others, always, so always be concious of what you are doing.

Gosh what a absolute prick you are, and clearly have a limited intellect or you'd understand some of the deeper question at least to some degree. To say things like "I don't know why people even need a "God" is so angry and so putting down us regular people as if YOU"RE something special with this high level of phony intellect and all you lazy people don't have what I have, is preposterous. I was looking forward to talking, but now since I see so CLEARLY that this has nothing to do with topics or sharing ideas but rather this is ALL ABOUT you making a feeble effort in showing off how much you THINK you know, that I can't stand writing another word to you. Good luck in your quest, but it won't be with me I guess and just for the record......people that really do find God in their lives are some of the nicest happiest people I've ever known and do more to help this world than any other group I know of. I wish I had more of that belief to find more meaning in my life as well.

Wow would you please get out of my hair. I am not trying to put down anyone and I also have good friends that do believe in God, some in Allah, I have Jewish friends, Hindus, Buddhists and even a Wiccan girl who has her own coven. If you had read my reaction without prejudice you would have noticed that I said that I am an agnostic, people can believe anything they want for all I care. What you seem to perceive as anger is really just a question I ask myself on that topic. Obviously I am not alone in that considering that I am not the only agnostic and probably all atheists ask them self the same question. So it seems you have an opinion about that why don't you share that with me instead of presuming I am trying to put people down. I am really very curious?
