it's not so bad--helps you to appreciate the other seasons more

one of my favorite sights as a child was going outside after it had been snowing all night and seeing the whole world transformed into a sparkling white blanket.

I actually enjoyed the ice storms we had... I remember the trees covered by ice.. not fun to drive in, but beautiful to look at. But where I live now it's rarely ice storm, mostly snow with lot's of drifts (due to open land.)
