Volcarona (Urugamosu//fireMoth; #637) + Venipede (Fushide//centipedeLarva; (#543)

For those of you who don’t know/aren’t old enough to remember who this is, here’s the Old Kylie.

+since Backstory;
Nearly two years after her entry and defeat in the first PCBC, and Kylie has since been very much off-the-map. Following her defeat in the tournaments third round, she was incarcerated, and later transferred from the competition island, to a more secluded setting; somewhere in Isshu.

Spending a year under administrative watch in a psychiatric facility, Kylie managed to stay under-the-radar enough to be deemed harmless enough, and was released on parole.
It seems that in a world where physic-defying creature combat is legal, a dangerously psychotic young woman is considered rather harmless by comparison.

Her old gang has long since been disbanded, with most of them having been chased away following her arrest, but in an optimistic fashion, she’s begun to accumulate another crew of misfits to crawl around the countryside with.

current Status:
Nowadays, she attends bi-weekly meetings with her therapist, who believes she’s making excellent progress, and they’re currently working on finding her a new place in society. Unfortunately, Kylie doesn’t quite fall under the typical clichés of the Pokémon universe:
Trainer, Breeder, Collector, Scientist, Pokédex enthusiast, Gym Leader, League Challenger/Champion, Region-specific Evil Team Member, Miscellaneous NPC, and deeming herself too cool to be a “Bug Catcher”, it seems there’s very few choices left for her.
Although, lately, there has been a sudden influx of new trainers starting new Pokémon journeys and Kylie’s had her eye on them. It seems old habits die hard.

A contest entry thingi for
It’s been a lonnnnngg time since I did anything with this girl, so a draw-your-OC contest seemed like a good excuse to do something with her.
So this is her current state I guess, playing with some of the new GenV toys. Bugs galoooreee this Gen, and lots of them are actually (surprisingly) decent which makes me happy. I can’t say the same about Poison though... If there were a competition between all the Pokémon types, to see who’s been screwed the most, and screwed the most consistently since day One, Poison would win first, second and third place. +sadface.
Ohwell, it’s been fun drawing Poké-things again since I haven’t really touched them in about six months!
