“Is this your item?”Dixon revealed the pink coral from his cloak, holding it out to Marin. Their eyes widened.
”Yes, yes! That’s it!” They shouted quietly, pressing their paws against the glass. Dixon smiled softly. Marin suddenly noticed that Dixon was bleeding from several small cuts.
”You’re wounded!” Marin exclaimed in panic, swishing their tail in the water.
”Hmm?” Dixon hummed and inspected himself, seeing that he did have a few scrapes and bruises. He simply shrugged.
”Oh yeah, Rokusho tried to stop me, but I knocked him out in a few.” Dixon explained, still holding the coral, “luckily he didn’t notice it was me...” he mumbled, Marin not being able to pick up what he said.
”Well, thank you so very much, young man.” Marin concluded.

Eee I rushed to finish this drawing, sorry if it looks bad! I’m making a little head-cannon that Dixon helps Marin escape, but continues to go along with Rukosho on his travels since he didn’t know it was Dixon. The reason being because Dixon has never really had a “good” captain before. (Inspired by LillCreatures25 ‘s prompt with Dixon and Marin singing songs <3)
