This movie was win. Epically directed by Scorsese and brilliantly acted by all involved. Loved Lehane's book and I'm glad this movie remained true to it.This wallpaper is fail, but so are most of my other ones. And like those, I decided to post this one anyway. x)

I don't know if he was sane to start with or Insane the whole time, But at the end when he said that He new the truth, and he was sane.

Not necessarily insane the whole time, but definitely living a different reality than the doctors and Chuck 'n stuff. But yup, at the end, he acted like he definitely knew what was going on. Leo and his subtle facial expressions... xD

Yeah, same here... but at the same time, I'm kind of glad they left it up to the viewer to interpret whether or not Teddy knew what was going on. I like to think that he knew exactly what was happening to him. (Which is terribly sad, but... still.)

Yup, those were exactly my thoughts. :3 I think he couldn't take knowing that he (essentially) killed his wife and children and he didn't want to relapse into his roleplay, where he acted as Marshal Daniels. To him, the only way out of that was to be lobotomized.
Although, I don't think it was entirely his fault his wife killed their children. That part made me pretty dang sad, I'll admit. D:
