Description
Pencil, paper, some old copics, and Let It Go !!As you may know/remember or not, Crys has the power of Wind. Whatever, it's very fund to draw this kind of stuff, it's a good training for movements! I'm not happy with everything, but it's fun and i'm going to do more.

The poses look good to me though. They have lots of energy and it feels as if she moves the wind with her whole body. Well done

ouiiii!

Oehh, now there's some very good movement practice right there! I sometimes secretly try to scribble some stuff down for my own OC, but they tend to fail - yours on the other hand look so... natural. Not sure how or why (since I have a hard time understanding human anatomy in the first place haha) but dang they're looking awesome

Oh, thank you >///<Β
Ahah, I had lot of classes of anatomy, and I like to understand how it works in general. I still see lof of mistakes, though, and see how I could improve it, but I like it when I reach the point where my pencil just fly on paper: not thinking a lot, just enough to keep it correct, but mostly letting the flow going through my pen if that does make sense? To get movement, I think you have to rely on instinct and not trying to control everything your pen do?

Yeah, I'm totally getting what you mean with going with the flow of your pen. I think that's perhaps the base
of getting dynamics down in your art; so often when I see classmates drawing a dolphin next to the one I
drew for fun, they're so... rigid in their movement. Like they want to jot the whole thing down in one line,
in one go. But I guess it's also very much related to how comfortable you are with the subject. I draw dolphins
very loosely with the first few strokes, only getting to real detail much later on. But with humans, I just don't
know 'em well enough (yet) and so the drawings become forced. It's like the lack of broad understanding
of a subject that makes one grasp for the details in an attempt to make things look good, while that of
course is the wrong way around to look at a drawing - if y'know what I mean?

Yep I know what you mean! For human, I'm more used to draw girls than boys, I think if I did the drawing with a guy it would have get less movements. The more you are at ease with a subject, the easier it is to do these "automatic" sketches! You know how it works so you don't really have to think about it.!
