I believe that "American Dragon: Jake Long" is one of the biggest ripoffs ever. I had an idea like this awhile back about a kid having a dragon-transforming ability who lived in NYC. When this came on, I got pissed. So now I'm doing something about it.Related content

tbh, there's little wrong with the show... it's funny and the characters are alright, and it's funnier in season 2 (though the dragons look a bit rubbish)

No offense dude, but they had this thing planned months ahead before you thought of it.

I know it wasnt theft, and I wasn't going to animate it, but it still bothers me that they were able to produce that and get credit for it while the idea was in my head.

Haven't seen the series yet, but frankly, after seeing a few trailers, I'm glad I'm not seeing it.
i.e. If you're gonna work such an idea (kid transforming into heroic dragon), at least do it right!
