You woke up early Saturday morning, around 7:00 a.m. Your phone was beeping rapidly, showing that someone was obviously calling you. You picked up your phone and checked the caller I.D.; with no surprise, it was Eridan Ampora. He always called you on the weekends so the two of you could hang out. To be honest, you never really did anything together though. You kind of just sat around, watching television and eating the occasional bowl of popcorn or bag of Doritos.

You unlocked your phone and answered, “Hello?”

“What’s up, [Name]?” Eridan asked.

You rolled your eyes. “It’s 7 o’clock in the fucking morning and you’re asking me what’s up? I was sleeping, thank you.”

“Well, you don’t have to be so harsh,” Eridan whined. “Besides, I called because I actually thought of something we could do today, y’know, instead of just sitting around.”

“What exactly is your idea?” You asked.

Eridan sighed. “I figured we could go to the beach or somethin’, if you wanted to.”

You thought about this for a moment. You could go to the beach with him, which would be quite fun. You also, of course, could go back to sleep, which would be pretty enjoyable on your part as well. Though, you wanted Eridan to be happy.

“Yeah, sounds fun enough,” You agreed.

“Cool, I’ll be over to pick you up in an hour,” Eridan replied, and hung up.

You slowly pushed yourself out of bed and searched around the room for your beach bag. You found it. It was you favorite beach bag, being decorated with [f/c] and [2f/c] stripes. You grabbed it and looked around for your beach essentials. You needed a towel, some sunscreen, some sandals - hell, you needed just about everything.

You found everything you needed and had your beach bag all packed and ready to go. You had the bag on your shoulder, wearing nothing but the sandals on your feet and the [f/c] swim shorts covering you.

You heard a knock at the door and immediately answered it. In the doorway stood Eridan with his purple swim shorts on and his usual scarf around his neck. You couldn’t help but laugh about how completely stupid it was for him to wear his scarf to the beach, but of course, you didn’t tell him why you were laughing.

“Would you shut up and get out here?” Eridan sneered. “I’d like to get to the beach sometime today?”

You chuckled, walking out the door and shutting it behind you. You followed Eridan to the car, ready to start your beach party of a day.
