As a fledgling artist I can see your talents, so I try to ask questions when I can and give you an honest opinion. Lying to people who stink about being good is worse than living a lie.

On a critque note-- I wish you'd draw less dark pics. Dark pics are a waste of your talent. I know you've had stuff going on but try to think and work on less dreary stuff. The reason for this is that any old hack can draw bloody crap like on TV, but someone like you, with that AWESOME attention to detail can get more accolades by drawing subjects that one wants to look at for a long time. Gory stuff is so below your talents. This is just my opinion, but I much further enjoy your detail work than the Gothic pix. In any event,, keep the drawings flowing.

I do enjoy drawing gore and am trying to focus on not venting. But I do realize now that I look back, my style has changed completely. But I'm going to stay with drawing humans, because I suck majorly at animals ._. Except maybe dragons, but mainly just the bust. I actually have been more in the mood for drawing not so dark pictures, including lineless, and smiley and happy people with a joyful vibe to them, what surprise. But in terms of YFM, I've developed my own reaistic-y style, but I'm too lazy to draw the eyes on the others. Drawing Puff's dot eyes is enough >.<
But would you like a request or something? You seem like a person with good ideas but not the materials to make it.
I'm also interested in getting to know you more, too x3

Please understand that I'm not criticizing your art at all. Just seems like it's always dark. I know you've been through a lot, and that art is your salvation, and that's a good thing. Just seems to me that if you're trying to recover from whatever you had, a change of subject might help influence more creative ideas to pour forth but in a different direction. We know you can draw monsters and gore, but what about other things? I bet you would draw the things you say you can't draw well if you practiced more. Seriously, you have a gift, and you should use it to make the world a better place. If the end of days comes and we're all zombies then you can go back to that. Hee hee. Maybe give it a try? Just my opinion. I like what you draw and see potential that I've never had. Don't waste it on downers. There is enough of that on TV.
