For Kirbopher15 's Fundraiser for TOME: Season 2, I donated $25 and was allowed to have a background character be shown in an episode!

To be honest, I could've chosen one of my own characters, like Dawn, Jixx, or Rose, but at the last minute, I decided to, once again, make a character based on my best and closest friend cutelittledizzymae , whom I know in real life.
She's been having a really tough year so far and has been down in the dumps. When she told me all the things that's been going on in her life, it literally broke my heart, and I really hate to see her when she's been down these last few months. She, like me, is also a fan of TOME: Terrain of Magical Expertise, and I always remembered her getting really excited whenever a new episode or short comes out. So that being said, I decided to make a character based on her, even if it is a background character, just so it could help lift her spirits up more. What better way to cheer her up than to have a selfie of her appear in her favorite webshow?

Many props to my sister who helped me with the designs. I wanted to go for a biker-chick look, and I originally wanted to go for a brown-color scheme, but I was afraid she would look like a copycat of Yang Xiao Long from RWBY, so I changed it completely. I tried to blend the color scheme from one of cutelittledizzymae 's previously drawn selfies of herself (a shade of red) with her favorite color (orange), and also threw in some other colors that I thought would also fit, all the while trying to make her look a bit bad @$$ as I could.

After I was done, I was kind of stuck between having the character either be a fighter or a swordsman, but I decided swordsman because she didn't look like the kind of character that would fight with her fists. I tried to go for a unique sword design based on the Gullwings Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts 2 that was based on the sphere-hunting group, the Gullwings, from Final Fantasy X-2, because FFX-2 is actually my friend's favorite Final Fantasy game, so I tried to go for a somewhat winged blade.
