The moon shone brightly on the traveling cats as if lighting their way home. But they weren't going home. Their home had been destroyed. Flooded and burned after the twolegs war. I mustn't think about that. Dreamwave thought, shaking her head. She had gotten the chance to meet and share tongues with other clan cats and it was amazing! The wonderful stories and cats she had met lingered in her mind. The best part was that Lillykit would get to make friends in other clans. The pretty femme smiled at the thought of the bouncy yet shy kitten. There was never a second she regretted adopting the kit as her sister and caring for her. Suddenly a familiar silver tabby pelt popped out of the crowd to face her. Dreamwave purred as the little kit licked her ear. She returned the lick and recoiled at the taste. "Hello Lillykit! I haven't been up to much but it seems you havent bathed since we left!" She meowed, picking her sister up and carrying her to the side. "You need to keep your beautiful pelt shiny for all the clans to see!" Dreamwave meowed through tufts of fur. She set the kit down at her paws and wrapped her soft, fluffy tail around her. The femme leaned down and began lapping at Lillykits dirty fur. "So what have you been up to, my little dewdrop?" She asked while
bathing the kit.
