Description My last comparison chart got a lot of positive feedback on FB. This one is mainly for anatomy reference.

Low Content Wolfdog
(1% to 50%) (Long bodies, short, stubby legs, curly tails, pointy sharp-edged ears, precaudal spots - no glands, rarely possess any significant wolf-like features, appearance and behavior are strongly influenced by the domestic dog heritage)
- Blightwolf

Mid Content Wolfdog
(51% to 75%) (Eyes and face are more lupine compared to low-contents, can have double dewclaws, behavior is slightly wolf-like, markings on face very usual, wolf-like coat pattern, well-furred ears, straight or curly tails, longer muzzles, larger paws, bark like a dog - may howl, can move like a wolf, more visible and prominent wolf-like features than is found in low-contents)
-Blightwolf

High Content Wolfdog
(76% to 99%) (Go into season once a year, extremely wolf-like behavior, well-faded and appropriately blended facial markings, can howl like a wolf, a working precaudal gland and dewclaws, born with blue eyes and dark coats like wolves, move like wolves, round ears, straight tails, slanted eyes, high prey drive, must be extremely well trained and socialized, sheds the same way as a wolf)
-Blightwolf

Information(and inspiration for this chart) goes to Blightwolf, all info found in the description for these dogs is copyrighted to her and her only. Chart is copyright to me, pictures by their respective owners.

Top animal doesn't look anything like a wolf. There's no visible wolf traits - it appears all dog. Misrepresentation sucks, yo.
Middle animal isn't wolfy enough to be a solid mid. Clearly has wolf content, but more in the low/low-mid range.
Quick tip for identifying wolfdogs: as a general rule, low contents look like dogs with some wolf traits, mid contents look like wolves with some dog traits, and high contents look like pure wolves. There is no such thing as a wolfdog with no visible wolf traits, which means the top animal is just a regular dog because there is no trait it possesses which can only be attributed to wolves.
I know this is old but it's pretty inaccurate, which ain't good at all when we're talking about an already constantly misunderstood and misrepped animal.

The low content has no wolf in it and the mid content is a low. Here is a site with accurate pictures of contents. Very helpful info, and probably helping a lot of people, but the pictures are wrong [link]

LOL, sorry for the double comments. My computer froze and I had to restart it and I didn't think it sent that first comment, but apparently it did, and dA doesn't let you to delete comments.

This is brilliant! I'm going to add this to the guide. Full credit to you, of course. ^^

I was going to do something similar to this myself as well, to demonstrate the anatomical differences between hybrids with different contents, but I will use yours instead. Hehe. xD
