Really great lenz which allowed me to take this shot from the bridge. But either way. I was also allowed to go inside the cake and use my smaller lenz. So yeah either way I pretty much was this close.

Nice capture
The tiger is beautiful and the scenario with the water falls fits perfectly.
Too bad you didn't use a faster shutter speed to get the detailed water drops or a slower ISO speed for making the water look like a continuous flow...
I wish I had the chance to photograph Tigers...

This is a very nicely composed shot, however, I have to point out that the post-work could be better.
Instead of using Brightness/Contrast, use the Levels adjustment layer. You get much finer control, and usually end up with a better looking image.

The color in this photo is very nice and vibrant. I like how it looks like it was taken in a real jungle. The lighting and composition are also very interesting, altough it might have been nice to have something inbetween the tree in the foreground and everything behind it to give it some better depth. (That's right. Tell those people who design the exhibits to get their act together)
The subject isn't so well captured, but I understand how that goes. Hard to tell the tiger to sit still and say cheese.

Interesting you should say there should be a point of object between the tree and the back. I honestly would have never thought of that although I think if that were there it would take away from the photo. The Tree is sort of an inhouse frame that was created by nature itself; Or well fair enough by planting it there. I'm glad someone took the time to critique for once, could use you around #Photocritique if you ever care to stop by
Thanks,
Michael.

Well, I didn't mean anything right smack behind the tree, just something in the middle ground. Right now, theres the extreme foreground tree, and the background, but there's nothing inbetween to tie the two together. Like a staircase where the stairs are too tall... probably a bad comparison, but the only one I could think of.

Haha yeah I understand. Kind of like a tree that fell over and had been left there to rot over years that contains moss and such.... Would have definately looked great =] Don't know why my mind is running crazy right now. Bubt definately thinks for the criticism. It was greatly appriciated.
See you around,
Michael Cantu.

that's the only critique i can say;

The deviation the link was leading to has been removed. The deviation was to dark... This one was clearly better.
Yeah I know; I like the idea of it drinking water though. But yeah, definately would have been a lovely photo if he had looked up at me.
Thanks,
Michael.

YAY!!! TIGER!!! which zoo is this at? i've never seen a tiger exhibit that nice. the picture is overall very pleasing to look at, which is good, although i think that some tinkering in photoshop would be wise, if done right. link to v1 isn't working. don't know if you removed it or what. but very nice

This was worked on photoshop But if you have any ideas on how to make it better your more then free to express them. Link to V1 was taken down due to the fact that it was to dark. So yeah it was removed =].

i think it would be good to bring the contrast up by, say, 3 or 4, and take the brightness down about 5 or 6. make sure that you apply the contrast difference first, or else the whole thing will be way too dark.

very nice, i have a thing for tigers, but mostly white bengals. this is pretty good, i like the light differances in it, and the boldness of the forest. with everything going on i understand the focus problems. it's difficult to get too great of a focus on anything unless you have a good camera and know how to use everything on it, which a lot of people don't, but meh, that's not the point. good photo overall, you got me with the tiger, lol.

It looks like you went out to the Savanaah, or a similar wilderness, and took the picture without the beast knowing you were there. it's soo natural. I love the dappled sunray look, captured naturally. Brilliant! ^_^

Well the fact that, i couldnt get his head. Is due to the fact we couldnt get closer the the animals, If you werent aware these were taken in a zoo, and when i asked them if i could have permission to get inside to take photographs, they rejected it. Thank you for the great critisim, i really appreciate it. = ]

the motif is very nice here, just looks like you shot it in the real forest.
the subject (the tiger) is not captured so well, i understand if you wanted to get the "dont see his head" effect here, which is often used in animal art photography, but a bit more of his head would have really been better here. the focus is nicely done. depth of field is used in a very good way, i think the exposure was not right. the waterfall in the back builds up a very nice background for the image, but it would have been nice if you either used a longer exposure to underline it is a waterfall and nature and NATURAL and stuff OR if you used a shorter exposure to get single waterdrops into your picture. that would ve given a more fresh feeling to it.
the saturation of colors are a bit too low, contrast increasement with levels in photoshop would do the job. the composition is extremely good in general. rule of thirds everywhere and the subject in in one of he best positions of the image. the lighting is great, so a bit contrast increasement would also help here.
i like the picture, the capture is well done..the afterwork is not.
