EDIT: I forgot Taka's scar. >.<While rereading 's TLK comics once again, this idea came to my mind so I made a quick drawing. What if Taka wasn't influenced by Viccha (hope I spelled that right)? After being rejected by Sarafina, he found comfort in Naanda, but not for long. The old hyena twisted and changed his mind that she was just using him and he listened to her. This is what if they stayed together, had Zira together (with other cubbies on their way, yay!
) and lived as a happy family. But then we wouldn't have TLK1 and TLK2, Zira would grow up to be a nice and happy lioness who wouldn't lose her mind, Taka wouldn't think of killing his brother and everyone would live happily ever after right? No drama, no nothing. Kinda boring? Not TLK enough?

I bet he's Kovu's father, though i thought originally maybe it's why she hates Nuka, but when you think about it, she treated Kovu like a weapon, i honestly feel like Kovu will be resented at birth and the manner of said birth, his resemblance to Scar allowing her to obsess over her father once more, maybe even because of what the father did to her family, in her mind she can make Kovu do the same to Simba, and easily calls him traitor when he fails his task, Mnyama's spawn..
