This looks a lot like the remains of the rocket I made that dropped the command capsule twenty meters from the launch pad and proceeded to spray parts in all directions. Β I think I got something into orbit, but I'm still not entirely sure.

He's the guy in the middle. The photo rendered kinda funny when making the motivator, so the program cut out the top and bottom of the picture.

When in doubt, add more boosters.
If at first you don't succeed, try again with a bigger rocket.
It's all trial and error. Mostly error.
