Description
This art is a proof of concept after discussing with RadiantEld about UV errors (gaps and holes) after mesh subdivision and converting tris to quads.The workaround is to join meshes of body and cloth before doing any subdivisions, however it may not work a 100%, but in this case it did and I am completely satisfied with the result.
Pose by ssidey and modified by me to make Koko look even better. I usually do it in Blender directly since it has greater control of bones translation.
Render in Blender Cycles 2.79 with my newest shaders.
Time to render is 1:28 with 2,500 samples and denoiser on. No Photoshop edits except my new logo by ShadowNinjaMaster

My idea of light in 3D is the same as in the real world, and the close alternative is not the lamps but the spherical HDRI source. It provides the most accurate reflection and light interaction with skin and objects, thus making them look realistic.

I think that is the most disappointing "bikini" for her, with the exception of the school uniform or her very first bikini, but I actually like it, maybe is the render, she looks really cute here

Personally, I think of this bikini as a super mini-dress and not a one piece swimwear. May not be to please everyone but I like it and only for Kokoro. If you try this on another girl it may not look so good.
I think it makes her look more innocent and tender.

I see a strange line where the dress meets the skin (at back). Other than that I do not detect any artifacts from the join operation. That's a very minor thing though (it can easily be cleaned up in photoshop). I actually expected worse results based your reply, but this is not too bad, right?
What do you think about how the hair is shaded? Zoomed out: OK. Zoomed in it looks too hard. Almost sharp like rock. I've seen this in a few of your shots. You happy with that, or you're working on the shader?
Another thing I noticed is that she has dirty nails. This is likely coming from bad normals (normals is a vector that decides how a mesh surface reacts to light, if it is inverse, the surface is shaded when it should be lit).
I think blender has a recalculate normals function in edit mode. This operation make all normal vectors point outwards, away from the body. It is possible it could solve the nail problem. This operation can also destroy "smoothing". If it does, it should be possible to select the nail polygons only and then apply reculate normals to the selection.
Anyway. Good work on this one. It is a beautiful shot!

Oh, the line is original, it is not a result of the join operation. the original design is to fake shadow where cloth meets skin. The original has that mesh deformation like the cloth punch into the skin and created the cave in.
I consider this is a good result of join, but it not always works and after importing to Blender the UV sometimes gets bad, like missing nipple on HDM bodies,
although it is easy to fix by importing tmcmesh from TMC file and import to Blender, after that I copy paste UV from good tmcmesh file to the damaged in blender. That is why my models from Private paradise are having good UV.
The hair is another quest of mine, still working on it. For some models like Ayane, I think the result is good but brunettes are still WIP. Not really happy with Kokoro hair.
Ahh, the nails, right, that was quick mesh separation to make nails and I totally neglected to check normals. Another quest. Yep, I am aware of recalc normals.
[Edit] After verifying normals, it appears I did make them recalculate outside (I always check normals for each object before rendering), so all good on this one, but they still pain dirty. however, after adding subdivision with OpenSubdiv option they fixed and paint clean.
Afterall as I mentioned in the description this render was just a proof of concept after our discussion about join meshes to see if join operations would eliminate gaps. Total time spent on this render is 2 hours from importing posing and rendering and slapping my logo on it.

Ah, I thought it shouldn't be there, but it is part of the original mesh.
Then this certainly looks good.
On the hair, have you tried giving it some SSS?
The opensubdiv on the nails is very interesting. It is an option I haven't explored myself.

And what a difference adding SSS on hair makes, almost looks real now, but still, have to fiddle with SSS values.
Adding SSS makes them look a bit greasy, we can't allow that, do we? Playing with SSS strength and radius.

This is a really nice piece of art.
I know a lot of people dont like this dress, but I think Kokoro looks great in it.
The lighting is very realistic, the sss(I assume u used it maybe not i dont know) is perfect.
Her hair looks great.
The pose is mediocre.
I really like the way it seems like theres a breeze blowing her dress around it adds a nice atmosphere.
Overall you did a fantastic job on this you should be proud!
The only thing that could make this better is if she was bottomless.(She does have a nice "whoops" expression for it too XD)

Actually the first ever render I made in Xnalara was Hitomi from the early DOA, not the LR, the original polka dot. for some reason, I felt to like it. Never posted here on DA but you can take a look .

Ill try and make those other 2 renders but im not liking those background environments I tried to render it out but it gave me an error and even if it did work ill have to go throu all the mats and change the opacuity maps for them could be 100s of them X(

the hitomi one was easy cuz the room didnt need any opacity maps so i just imported and made a camera swaped my hitomi textures onto it and rendered!
