This was inspired by a scene in an RPG with Emi. Long story short: Sapphire's soul was bound to Nevae's. I'll explain more on that later... But Angel was the one who had to do it since he's an angel and all. However, since he had to do it his soul and identity had to leave for the circle of Binah, which is unity for more work to do for them. Everything that makes him identifiable and a separate entity, like his personality and looks was left behind and turned into stone. Tanwen was upset by it, and Sapphire made a sad description of him by saying he looked like one of those graveyard angels. So I decided to draw this.
