Eridan x Reader - "Cast Away" - Part 3

Part 3, in where it gets dramatic and ... well, read!

You just sit there and hope everything would fix itself. That someone would turn the time back, so you won't say these words to Eridan. But of course, nothing of that happens. You listen to the silence in your room, because even Pesterchum is quiet now. It seems like the troll finished his ranting and left you all alone.

You let out a deep sigh and put your head on your arms. You suddenly are really tired and empty. Not even the tears are running down your cheek anymore. You just want to sit there and sleep a bit...

But after an hour you wake up from a scream, a "OHMYGOD!" to be exactly. But before you could see the source of that you are being attacked! Someone tackles you, but not too strong. It more feels like someone tackle hugged you. But even by that fact you fall out of the chair and down on the ground, together with the person. As you smell the salty scent of sea and rain you know it is Eridan. He starts to sob and cry on your body, but as soon as you pat him on his back he stops and lifts his head to look in your eyes
"youre not dead!", he shouts and hugs you again. "oh thank cod youre not dead..."
"Why should I be dead?", you asked, still totally confused. What is he doing here, why does he tackle hugs you and why does he think you're dead?!

"i thought you ... you... wwhale, you didnt answwer me at all so i decided to come here and then you didnt move wwhen i knocked or call you and then you... oh cod!" he stutters and hugs you even more. He usually never stutters, except for his w's... he is really in feels now.

"Wait... you thought I took my own life?!", you ask him shocked. You feel him nodding on your neck, still trembling in fear or sadness. "I would never do that! Even by the fact I lost you...", you whisper the last words and tried to push him away. He just grabs your shoulders and looks in your eyes, his own opened widely because of unbelieve.

"wwho said you lost me?", he asks. You don't answer. "wwhale... you lost me as a moiral. if you mean that.", he smirks at you now.

Oh man, he even is happy about that.... You try to pull him away again, but he is much stronger than you. So you give up and just sigh.

"Sorry, Eridan... Sorry I said that words...", you mumble and look down on your knees. You start to feel cold and empty again, so your body starts trembling.
But after a moment you feel warm clothes on your shoulders and your back. As you look you see it's Eridans cape which is covering you. Before you could ask him about that you feel his fingers lifting your cheek. You now look in his eyes. They are nearly glowing in the dark and they reflect the warm smile on his black lips.

"dont be sorry for that, matesprite.", he whispers and slowly comes closer to you. Even before you could gasp in surprise and happiness your lips are covered by his. All the fears and sadness fall off of you in that moment, and you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling yourself closer to him. He chuckles on your lips, before catching your own lips for a new kiss.
After a while you two stop the kisses and just look in each others eyes.

"evveryfin good again?", he asks quietly, and you nod smiling.

"Of course!", you smile back and snuggle up to him. "Nothing could be even better!"

"wwhale, maybe you should get wwarm clothes or get a blanket. youre still tembling and that wworries the glub out a me!", he gently commands you and stands up. You follow him to your bed and giggle as he puts your blanket over your shoulders.

"Then you want that back?", you ask and holds his cape in his direction. He smiles softly and hugs you.

"you can keep it if you wwant. i knoww you like it, you alwways wwant to wwear it!"
You giggle again. You surely act like a little girl now, but you just feel so great! No longer empty or sad, did you ever even feel that way? Eridan giggles too and pulls you in his arm.

"so glad to hear you laughin again, _____. cod i wwas so afraid i wwould nevver hear that again!"

"I am sure you'll hear that really often now!", you laugh and kiss his cheek.

"i hope so. and noww, go to bed."

"Whaaa-? Why nooow???", you pout playfully. "I don't want to! I want to be here with you and hug you and cuddle with you and talk to you and kiss youuuu!". You gain a small laugh with your pouting grumble, but then he softly pushes you to the bed.

"i sea that youre reely tired, _____. i wwont go awway, trust me.", he says as you lay down. As soon as you feel comfy and warm your eyes shut down.
"i wwill nevver leavve you again. i havve wwaited for you so long...", you hear him whisper before you fall asleep.

And as you wake up again you feel warm arms wrapped around you, and a hand that was stroking your hair. Slowly you turn around and look in the eyes of Eridan who was smiling at you.

"good mornin, my matesprite.", he giggles as you touches his face and explore it.

"So that wasn't a dream?", you quietly laugh as you caress his nose.

"i dont think so, or else i wwould havve the same dream."

"What if you do! Then I am dreaming that you are dreaming the same dream"

"is that evven possible?"

You two look at each other with a serious face - but then burst into laughs. And as you wanted to stop and return to your lovely talk he starts to tickle you. And he knows about your tickle spots! So you cannot stop at all.
But after a while he lets you go so you could catch some breath. While you lay there and calm down he said:
"i nevver had so much fun wwith fef." and starts to stroke your hair again.

"I thought you didn't have a matespriteship with Feferi?", you ask and pout a bit. You never liked Feferi that much. You met her a few times, and she seemed to be nice to everyone and really excited to see you. But somehow you couldn't make friends with her. Maybe because she left Eridan so lonely.

"an thats right! wwhale, there wwas a time wwhere i wwanted her to be my matesprite... but that time wwas gone wwhen i met you. remember? the island?"

"Why would I forget that?"

"wwhale, thats wwhen i stopped to cry after her. after all i got you as my moiral... an noww as a matesprite.", he hugs you tightly and kisses your forehead. "wwhy should i givve this up...", he whispers and starts to kiss your nose.

"Well... Feferi is a highblood... and she is the heiress.", you answer the question. He growls a little bit, usually a sign of him being annoyed a bit.

"yeah and? i once thought that is important. but thanks to you i knoww its not. and seriously, you wwould be a highblood as wwhale if you wwould be a troll. i am shore about it. just a high blood color is wworth enough for you. and evven if you wwould be a lowwblood... i wwould still lovve you."

You feel little tears coming up your eyes. You hug him back and kiss his cheek.

"Awww! Thank you, Eridan!"

He mumbles something like "alwways for you", but he gets distracted by your kisses. You start with his cheeks and move down to his chin. You wanted to do that since you knew you have a crush on him. And finally you can do it! You also start to kiss down his neck, and he growls again. But this time it sounds soft and enjoying. You smile and take a deep breath, so you can smells his scent. Then you return to kiss his grey skin.

"____... wwater you doin...", he mumbles but doesn't stop you.

"Kissing you, oviously!", you laugh and go back to his cheek. "Should I not?"

"no, dont stop...", he whispers and you giggle. "its just... strange... i nevver felt that wway, not evven for fef."

"I know what you mean... But it feels good!"

"exactly.". You both giggle, then you go back to kiss his face. At the end you kiss his lips for a long time. "human bed are quiet comfortable... bein kissed and wwarm and wwith you on it.", he says smiling. "i could get used to that."

"But you need this sopor slime. Don't you?", you ask. Eridan told you a bit about trolls, but you aren't really sure. But he nods.

"we havve to lay in there from time to time, yeah. i wwish you could sleep there too..." he whispers. "it wwas nice to sleep next to you. its wwarmer and calmer, _____."

"It really is! So bad that sopor slime is acid to my skin...". You two begin to stroke the others hair while you talk together.

"wwhale, i guess i can stay here a bit if you wwant. and wwhen i feel like it i can go back to my hivve and sleep there for a night. but if you dont wwant to-"

"But I want to! It was so nice having you next to me when I woke up!"

"true. i just thought it maybe is goin on too fast for you. wwe trolls usually havve no problem wwith taht, but as much as i knoww you humans dont do that in that wway. and i reely dont wwant to do anyfin wwrong! i dont wwant to be lonely again...". His eyes become sad as he remembers his past. When he was left by Feferi and Vriska, his old kismesis. You hurry up to kiss him, so he wouldn't think about that anymore.

"But you won't be alone anymore, Eridan!", you say happily, and he really starts to smile. "Now I am here, ready to annoy you with my red feelings!", you stick your tongue out and hear him giggle.

"yeah as if you are annoyin me wwith that!"
