.with grateful thanks to Sylwester Szymanski for the use of his beautiful photograph.... [link]have kept going back to this...think it is now working much better.Taken about 6 months from when i 1st uploaded this..a very different painting from the original i submitted...may go back again and work a bit more on the hands.

Not this looks really nice. The colors are good, purple moments really give it more of a emotional depth in my opinion. The sparrow, looks really good, something about the hands is barely amiss but face and hair looks supers. Background looks good, but due to pose and the overall look, I guess something more concrete would serbe better.
