Description
Started this one over 6 months ago...it's become highly decorative and vaguely religious...think it veered away from a traditional portrait when i put the bird on the shoulder...it became more fun to paint as i went on with it and got a bit more likeness of the beautiful child........with thanks to the great photographer Sylwester Szymanski for his beautiful image...link below.[link]

I'm not sure why, but this reminds me a bit of a little Joan of Arc... maybe because I finished reading Joan of Arc by Mark Twain today? I don't know.... Anyway, this is a very lovely painting! :3

This absolutely beautiful. I have one tiny problem with it but it is just something kind of trivial: the flower looks a little like it's flat on her skin. As I say, something trivial, and if everything else weren't so perfect I probably wouldn't have even noticed it.
