holy shit two uploads in one day who is this person
While I was working on Casual Zelda, I wanted to take breaks between big stretches of painting and do something a little simpler. So I decided to doodle up my current team in Pokemon Omega Ruby! I wanted to keep this a simple piece, so I decided to practice my designing skills and give a super exaggerated and cartoony silhouette to each Pokemon. I especially wanted each one to be super unique compared to another. I also played around with the lineart style a little bit, and had a blast with it!

Riza the Blaziken is a super competetive lady. She's a powerful fighter and has a bit of an inflated ego. She considers herself Diane's rival.
Diane the Alakazam is short-tempered and a bit snooty. She considers herself Riza's rival.
Teddy the Lairon is a big softie. He loves hugs and making friends and sometimes forgets he's not a lapdog.
Scotch the Whiscash is a bit oblivious and easily distracted. He really cheery, but easily forgets what he's doing.

PMDU people might recognize the name I chose for my Whiscash. After doing the Basalt Halls mission, I kinda fell in love with the Whiscash line! Plus, I'm partial to Ground/Water types and needed a Surfer for my team!
And I'll definitely be using this colored lineart for future comics too!
