In the spirit of being random... I was bored last night and decided to play around with some brushes I'd downloaded from Aethereality.com and came up with this... I quite liked it and thought it'd be good enough to share.
What do you think? Full view is needed!

Fun, playful, and and free spirited--I like to see this side of you. It's like the visual side of your nature. You have such a way with words and now I see it carries over into visual arts as well. (I don't count photgraphy as personal expression--not the same way as something created with your hands)

sorry, i had to get this out of my system.
this would be much more interesting to the eye if that squarish shape (by far the most dominant in the composition) were replaced with some sort of rectangular one that bleeds off an edge of the page. then group some of those darker shapes on/near the dominant shape. give the eye a place to start and branch out from.
i do like the experimentation. and i know you're not a digital artist, so i won't be too harsh, but lemme tell you a secret among digital artists... c'mere... *leans over and whispers* using brushes, especially ones that other people made, cheapens your work... and composing an entire piece of them is a big no-no... *straightens up* but i'll let you off the hook this time cuz it's your first offence.

Like I said, I was just playing around with brushes, by no means did I set out to "create" a piece of digital art - I liked the outcome so I thought I'd upload it.

i'm surprised you didn't put it in scraps since it's so different from the rest of your stuff, and it's not "created."

The stuff in my scraps is finished, it's just not up to par with the rest of my art.

There's a lot of work in my gallery which "isnt up to par" with some of my better peices, thats not to say I'm going to scrap everything now does it? It's all down to personal preference. You might choose to shove half your shit into your scraps and hide it away from the world, but I choose to put it out there and be proud of it, regardless of what people like you think
