Damn... The detail... o.O
Please bro answer me this. Have you studied arts? How were you able to draw this good? Of course you're talented, but as a long time fan of this exact way of drawing I need to know where I should start.Β
Also, were these made by hand or digitally?
Lastly, how long does it take to draw one?Β
p.s. Colouring them might give them new life. They're so epic in colourless state, but with enough shading, it can reach it full potential.Β

Hi there! I am glad that you like my stuff! To answer your questions, I've never formally studied art besides taking a few classes in high school. It's just been a hobby of fine for the longest time. If you are looking to start with any sort of artistic process, the beast place to start is with mimicry. That's where I started. I just started copying pictures that I though looked great. For example, I've been following pokemon ever since it became westernized and I have drawn every single species up to this point just from copying the sugimori art. This is just a form of training your hands. From there, you can start doing more research and practicing your technique since every artistic style has basic principles they work off of. If you are particularly interested in the Japanese animation style art, you can start by learning the block and skeleton methods and work from there. As for my art, they are all drawn by hand. My gallery emphasizes the fact that these are all done in traditional style and traditional media whether it be pencil, oil or water-color. It just seems that everything is becoming digital these days and I just wanted to bring things back. Lastly, it takes anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour to draw a piece depending on how long I spend brainstorming for the design. As for coloring, I find coloring to be the most tedious part of the artistic process. If I could do a sketch, I'd be done in 40 minutes. If I had to color, I'd need at least another hour. I really like sketching because it allows me to do what I like with the time that I have. I'm getting ready to go to med school next year so I don;t really have the most time lol. Anyways, I'm really glad you like my stuff and than k you so much for all the support!

No prob man You deserve every credit given, and it's truly a shame that there aren't many other people in the comment section telling you the same.Β
So, you basically developed your own style, all by yourself... I definitely wasn't expecting such answer, but honestly great job. The way you draw the eyes, the legs, how you keep a body balanced and realistic, the fingers, the hair shades... All these are so difficult to me... :/ But you've given me courage to continue working hard to reach a level like yours. Plus, no digital thing can ever copy the precision movement of the classic pencil. Never. Oh, I just remembered, the amazing tiger head! That awesome art, don't tell me it wasn't part of training with an art school... If not then bro, your talent is beyond imagination...
Thank you for the reply and sorry for making you write all these! Have a nice day, good luck with med. school and your endeavours.

Thank you for all the kind words! I can't really say I developed my own style, but more like I took styles that I liked and put them all together. Don't worry about it! Everyone has to start somewhere. You'l improve for sure as long as you keep doing it. When I first started Japanese anime style art back in my freshman year of high school, my stuff didn't look nearly as good as they do now. As for the tiger head, do you mean the jaguar head? I did a little mini-series of watercolor animals heads a while ago just for fun since I'm into that sort of stuff lol. It wasn't for a project or anything. Some of the earliest pieces I made (the still-lives and scenery paintings) were for a portfolio though.

Bro, this xxd17.deviantart.com/art/A-Por⦠thing here... I'm amazed you drew this based on your skills you learned yourself! That's the meaning of pure talent!
Heh, when I find more free time, cause life's being a... right now, I will definitely try to develop my own skills. Β
Anyway, thanks for the chat and everything. I can only wish best of luck with your life and endeavours.
