that's how i felt XD lol every tutorial i went to besides this and another one it always said "this is a photoshop tutorial" and people i know always talk about photoshop.

lol i know exactly what you mean XD when i first got this program i got so frustrated that i couldn't find any tutorials. we corel painter 4 peoples need to stick together XD

i think i learned enough tricks in painter so if you need any help or tutorials i'll gladly post some up

For pens, I usually go under the tab with the little pencil on it and go all the way down and select scratch board tool. I use that mostly for my cleaned-up line work and coloring. I use the regular pencil for doodling.

and here's a little pic-tutorial for the coloring and lines. I hope that helps a little if not you can totally yell at me o_o
