    “I’m sorry…”
    Wait.
    What was this?
    Gizli had been enjoying some quality time with everyone… Where did they go?
    Where was Anthony?
    Why was this light burning into his eyes?
    What was going on?
    Gizli could feel the sharp intake of the freezing air burn his lungs. He watched the tears that dared to trace down their host’s screen.
    No.
    NO-

    A flash of white covered Gizli’s vision, and he covered his ears as all that could be heard was an overwhelming roaring. And then it stopped. It wasn’t gradual, as it sounded like it’d been snuffed out immediately. Gizli could feel his muffled breathing echoed in his ears as the light disappeared.
    “AH-” It was the only thing Gizli heard before they all fell. It seemed to be Avery.
    They were about 7 feet off the ground when they fell, and Gizli could hear the clatter of Metal, the thumps of bodies falling against the ground. He heard some sort of protest from Jim. Gizli turned to the side to see the warrior on his back, seemingly angry about not being able to demolish a certain robot.
    “Ok…” Gizli breathed, sitting up, he looked forward to be met with-
    “Core?” Joey recollected himself and gently poked the host. Her mangled screen let out a few sparks, but all that he was met with was silence. “Aye, my man you’re not lookin too good.”
    “Joey I-” Avery walked by Joey, putting a hand on his arm. “I don’t think she’s going to wake up.”
    Silence.
    Momentary mourning for their lost comrade.
    Gizli cleared his throat awkwardly, looking around at everyone in this somber moment. Core would be ok.. Right? She was quite a bit maternal towards everyone, sweet all around. Gizli looked up as someone started speaking, not even having noticed his gaze drifting downwards.
    “We need to fix her.” James came forwards, now joining everyone crouched around Core. “I mean- Theodore. He’s got some abilities of that caliber, right?”
    Theodore, who was still reduced to a pile on the floor, gave a shaky thumbs up. “We’d need some parts to fix the beep bop lady though.”
    “That’s it,” Gizli snapped his fingers and looked at everyone. Gizli looked down to the mangled Core and continued. “We need to get parts to repair Core.”
    “What parts would we need though?” Maggie straightened herself up, now on James’ right shoulder. Her eyes sparkled with wonder.
    “Well a new screen obviously.” Gizli leaned down to inspect her broken screen, snapping backwards as the sparks shot out at him. Theodore now fully got up, about to cue in as Clovery stepped up.
    “Hands, Antennas, Screen, legs, a new power source/core, and new wires.” Clovery listed it off on his fingers before looking back to everyone. “Ah- Sorry.”
    “No, no it’s ok.” Gizli shook his head, watching as Theodore slowly frowned as his line was stolen. “That’s what… 6 parts?”
    “We should group up.” Xen spoke up. At his words, Theodore snapped over to grab Jim. “We could split up at-”
    “DIBS ON PIP-” Charcream yelled, diving towards the paper before picking them. Charcream smiled triumphantly before adding. “DIBS ON THE ANTENNAS-”
    “Oh come on, mate-” Olliew sighed, before walking up to Naval. The poor bomb seemed confused but just went along with it. “I wanted the antennas, but we’ll have to settle for the core of- Core- This is confusing.”
    “I’M STEALING THE DUCK-” Jim picked up Theodore, who promptly laughed maniacally at the added height.
    “That was easier than I thought it would’ve been-” Joey picked up Avery and put her on his shoulders, looking back at everyone. “That leaves Xen, Gizli, Lilac, Clovery, and James.”
    “ENDERBRO-” Lilac smiled and turned to Gizli, before James grabbed Gizli’s hand. A dramatic gasp sounded as Lilac looked from James to Gizli and back again. “You chose- James??”
    “It would actually be better to spread around the fighters.” Gizli sighed, looking at a betrayed Lilac, who simply nodded.. “I’m pretty sure it’d be best for you to go with Clovery, kid.”
    “Wait, what about me?” Xen cut in. Gizli didn’t have time to answer before Jim grabbed him and pulled him over.
    “You’re stuck with us buddy.” Jim laughed.
“You’re not escaping us.” Theodore laughed evilly and Xen looked almost scared.
