What is Infomania:
Infomania (or "infobesity") is basically a mental "mania" disorder (among things like "pyromania" and "nymphomania") where someone has an excessive enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge and accumulating facts. You want info, you want answers, you love to look for it, you get a high off it and it gets to the point where you can't concentrate on one thing and you often can neglect your health or responsibilities. It's kindof like an information overload, especially when you start having an obsessive need to constantly check the internet, e-mail, news, or books.
