1. The Japanese god of the wind.

· · · · · The Retrieval of a god
     Street lamps flickered to life beneath the grey sky as night began to set over the city. It was time. With a nod a group of cat-ish figures skulking in the shadows split into three groups. With a raucous commotion one of the sets consisting of three riders, faces hidden behind the durable cat masks of Exigent//NEKOMATA, lured away the WindCops stationed at the front of the harbor. Slow minded law enforcers were not the focus of this mission, though, and as Cougar, Reve, and Pookie rode away, the trail of cops in tow, a mumbled "Thank you" was given before the remaining two groups went into action. Rolling out into the open Wren, Sachi, and Sora, accompanied by Hades and Shinri, made their presence known to the crew of the designated ship. This group had been rightfully named 'the negotiation team,' though they were working more as a distraction.

     Slinking behind crates, storage sheds, and the like, the remaining members of Exi//NEKO - Taku, Theta, and Fae - made their way to the stern of the ship, jumping on the vessel with ease with the assistance of their Air Treks. A perk of having a growing team was the ability to split your forces up. To the surprise of the three tuners, however, they were not the only ones who had come to this conclusion as a cloaked figure wearing a bird mask rose up from the pile of boxes containing the regalia parts. Realizing someone else was taking advantage of the teams distractions, the youngest of the group was quick to voice her opinion in a most boisterous way.

     With the three tuners and guest discovered at the back, stealth was thrown out the window and an order for the riders to throw up a defense was yelled out as the rest of the tuners dashed to the cargo. With no time to be precise, each grabbed a box. Another shout to regroup as the tuners were now defenseless and another band of WindCops was being attracted to the noise. To the Exi//NEKOs relief they were not as defenseless as they originally believed, the newcomer letting out a shrill whistle to which a flock of birds proceeded to swoop down, startling the guards, the commotion enough for the group to flee the harbor, the Crane tuner being engulfed by the cats as one of their own for the time being.

· · · · · The Awakening of Fūjin
     Nestled in the back of Cerberus Bones, the tuners of Exigent//NEKOMATA discussed what was to be done with the parts they had retrieved while their guest, the tuner Crane, stood in a corner seemingly a little unsure herself what to do in the situation. At one point, retrieving some keys for a case had been mentioned, though the idea was quickly silenced by the teams leader with a quick motion of her hand and replaced by the suggestion of using some schematics she had obtained of the moon regalia. With the main prinicples of the moon regalia similar to that of the wind regalia it wasn't long before that was the decided core to rebuild. Glancing over to Crane, the outsider was welcomed into the mix with a nod from the blond headed leader for in her mind everyone deserved a chance to work on the regalia to learn, besides the bird masked tuner had carried a box of her own out of the fray at the harbor.

Crane's Letter
Back at Cerberus Bones, a white wagtail greets the team as it perches on a table, turning it's head swiftly as it eyes the different members before flying away. It had been standing on an origami crane, folded flatly, with a cat draw on it. Guess it was addressed to them.

Unfolding it reveals a letter from the Tuner Deko, a.k.a. Crane:

"Forgive the Crane for she had to leave, dear Cats.

I am truly grateful that I was able to help, what more surrounded by others,
though I could've ruined your initial plan and I'm sorry for that.

Sorry too for leaving without saying so…"

The next part of the letter had scribbles all over, probably meant to be erased. The Cats however, could read it well:

"It's hard for me to explain why I've chosen to disappear without your knowing.
Even I don't really know the reason.
Perhaps it's because being included in a nest with birds that can fly… reminds me about the fact that I cannot.
I don't know if I enjoy flying in an empty sky, filled only by a few others.
Maybe I'm not even flying.
Well I can only think of one truth:
I guess...I'm just very lonely inside my cage."

After reading the strange message, the wagtail comes back with another note in its beak. It flies away after dropping the small piece of paper that said:

"PS: I had no idea what to do with the parts once I obtained them. You guys really saved me back there! I learned quite a few things.The Regalia is beautiful."
