SPOILER ALERT!Ok so this was a part of Mockingjay that just stuck with me. I found myself doodling it in history. That last look from Prim before the parachutes, you know...

Oh my God, yes. Prim was my favorite character in the series because I always felt like she represented all the goodness, purity, and innocence of a forgotten world. The ending of the trilogy just made me say to myself, "Well, Katniss won and she made a better future for everyone...but without Prim to be there, it just feels that something SO essential is missing. This really is just not what she was fighting for all this time." As a former part-time English teacher I'm trying to see some kind of symbolic closure that makes me feel certain (or at least willing to admit) that Prim had to die, but at the moment I can't quite find it. It just felt so cruel.
So then, along with the photo album scene, the ending left me feeling very heavy-hearted...and as a cat-lover, the scene where Katniss finds Buttercup meowing amidst the desolate District 12 as if to say "Where is Prim? I came all this way for her..." just left me crying for so long.
This is beautifully done. The look on her face is excellent and I love the effect of fire's glow. The only part of this I guess I didn't expect is that I've always considered Prim to be a rather small and short girl, or at least notably shorter than the other medics who might've been on the scene, so reading the scene I sort of envisioned myself looking slightly down to see her face. But that might just be more of my own mental image.
In any case, this looks great, even though it does evoke some pretty sad memories.

Ya it really made no logical sense! I was in denial, as I am for any character who dies pretty much, but by the last few pages I still could not bring myself to accept that she had to go.
I'm a cat-lover too and god that scene had me bawling. At least the cat and Katniss bonded in the end, otherwise I'd really be upset.
Thank you so much! I'm really happy to hear that. I'll probably come back to it in a while and try to rework some of it because I definitely know what you mean about her being smaller. It doesn't quite match to what I have in my head yet. Thank you though, the feedback really helps!
