It really upsets me how much the fandom hates Pink Diamond/Rose, but in SUF Steven was a complete jerk (I know he had mental health problems) but everyone was like “he needs therapy, poor baby uwu”Pink deserves closure

augh a diary would have been a perfect idea!! i like to think rose's room was that to her, but it doesn't record things in quite the same way and reliving events in the room probably isn't the healthiest thing to do...
also, i believe what greg said essentially was that rose was about to open up to him about being pink, but he told her she didn't have to before she had said anything because he thought only the person she was now mattered (and that was because he remade himself as greg universe and didn't want to look back to the past himself when he, like rose really should have). it's sad, i think she could have benefited a looot by having one person she could be truly honest with after thousands of years of secrets. maybe it could have prevented her disappearance...

This couldn't be more true, lol. But let's be honest, it's the show's fault people think this way. They pretty much dumped the Spinel and Volleyball things on us, and ran.
What I hate, is Volleyball is completely treated like an abuse angle, with Pink Pearl blaming herself and making excuses. Like...Pink having a tantrum and making a shout that caused a shockwave is COMPLETELY different than willingly slapping PP around unapologetically. And then Rebecca drew a doodle of Pink looking horrified at what she had done.
The show wants to have it's cake and eat it too, but at the same time make Pink out as a total villain for no reason, while Steven was allowed to turn into a little psycho because of trauma. Killed Jasper, and tried to kill White. Future made him AND Pink look totally awful, imo.

You hit the nail on the head! Especially with the PP, everyone is saying “pink diamond is a domestic abuser!” when it LITERALLY was a scream the caused a shock wave!! She wasn’t “slapping pink pearl around” like everyone is claiming.
