Actually, looking at Eridan an Feferi, there are creatures that are like merpeople, but ponies. I think they are called Hippocampi

Well, they are based on the My Little Pony design, so canonically, they would be called Seaponies, but yeah, I guess they would be Hippocampi, or water horses are whatever version of the name floats your particular boat.
