Description
The ultralisk is a 20 meter long and 5 meter high living battering ram, evolved from the docile brontolith; a creature that the ultralisk now bears little resemblance to. Ultralisks serve as the backbone of the Swarm, possessing an exceptionally thick carapace.Ultralisks attack using large, bone-like scythes which protrude from their backs. Known as "kaiser blades", these scythes are nearly indestructible. Possessing monomolecular edges, these scythes are able to tear through most substances with ease.

This the prototype for my origami zerg ultralisk, and is nearing the final stage of copmpletion. I used 3 square and 3 rectangular sheets of paper. (to compensate for its large size) I wanted the ultralisk to be in scale with my other models. One paper would have been too small.

ahah i'm glad you asked. this ultralisk and the muta have been improved since.
actually i've already made the following zerg units:
drone
zergling
hydralisk
roach
lurker
baneling
infestor
scourge
brood lord
overlord
queen
overseer
corruptor
plus my ultra and muta
and i do plan on making the swarm guardian, brutalisk, and maybe even the leviathan.
i just need to find some time to photograph and upload. so i do hope you keep in touch. i cant wait to reveal the collection.

Love the composition, It captures the new Ultralisk look with the hood, horn, and sweeping blades, but I can't tell if it's got 2 or 4 from this view.

hmm now that you point that out, i'll have to fix the blades. There are 4 but the bigger ones cover the second pair.
and you'll be seeing more of the zerg zoon. I have lurker, baneling, and zergling prototypes almost ready.
