I suppose you don't know about soju, either. Then again, soon dubu ji gae is what I need when I'm feeling bad.

I guess that's what soju is. I've only seen it on the shelves at the grocery store. I knew it was alcoholic because there were so many brands of it.

You know that I'm not Korean at all. I've shopped plenty of Korean grocery stores because they're more plentiful than Japanese stores. I'm comfortable enough that I was planning to move into a Korean community on the edge of Los Angeles.

I'm cool? That's a first. Thanks.

When I was in the Korean grocery superstore/mall in Garden Grove, CA, the people there didn't know what to think of me. "Is he Korean?" "He doesn't really look Korean." "Is he white?" "He doesn't really white, either."

Then, there was the time I was at my Korean's friends' restaurant. Four old men had decided that I was a police inspector.

My buddy Won was talking to me that night and had not been cleaning up the tables, so a bunch of people arrived and he jokingly scolded me, so I went back, got the buss cart, and cleared the tables for him. All the while, the people in the restaurant had their eyes popping out, wondering what happened and I was laughing so hard I could hardly contain myself.

That's what everyone else was thinking. I was just trying to help, though. It didn't look good that they had dirty tables.
