Anyways: as for the lore here, Blue and ther others lied to Red that he didn't have another upgraded kill mode which is 600 KM. The reason that the others lied to Red about not having it is because Red was already stressed out enough about other things like 100 KM, food and memory loss.

So to prevent less stress for Red, they kept it a secret and lied to him, which in the end; Red is hurt and betrayed.
