Description
"Naite was born into a family of thieves and his father, Wizeru, forced him to steal precious stones from local jewelry stands. Naite grew up to be very stealthy in this manner, being the fastest out of his/her brothers and sisters and the hardest to catch. Even though Naite was spoiled, s/he grew tired of his life as a thief so s/he ran away from home. S/he goes about the Segua kingdom preforming stunts high up in the air, playing his/her flute, and pulls harmless pranks of the locals. Though for some reason when confronting the child about his/her gender, Naite gets completely distracted by birds, butterflies, or practically anything that moves, so no one ever knew if this child was a boy or a girl."ο»Ώ...

NiGHTS apparently is SEGUA's young queen Satana, however Satana more so represents the SEGA SATURN than NiGHTS, so Naite is more NiGHTS while Satana is more SATURN. At least in my head.

Yeah, I heard she represented SATURN. You kindda inspired me to make my own game-based character. I doodled her a few days ago; Her name is Gabby and she's based off the games Croc: Legend of the GobbosΒ and Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos. She doesn't belong to either kingdom since, as far as I could figure out, the first game was developed by an American company and a British company.

For the anime, yes, s/he represent the actual character from the original game. Though apparently, the Queen of Segua is supposed to represent both NiGHTS and the SEGA Saturn, however I didn't know this until I made Naite. Regardless, I see the Queen character more as the SEGA Saturn and Naite as NiGHTS.

It sucks that the only Sega games mentioned in this series so far are Sonic, Phantasy Star and Opa-Opa. You think they would've included Sega game characters from games released on the Saturn and Dreamcast in addition to the Genesis. Nights aside, they also should've included characters based off of Beat, AiAi, Amigo, Ulala, etc.

xD I heard NiGHTS is supposed to be Segua's young queen in the manga or something but I disliked the idea so I'm keeping the headcanon that Naite is NiGHTS and Satana (The actual one) is the sega Saturn. But, true. I don't know what the manga/anime is thinking.
