The breeze licked Ammit's face and attacked her hair as she sped down the road on her motorcycle. Bugs and a little bit of dirt would occasionally hit her in the face, she would've been wearing her helmet if she wasn't so concerned for her passenger.
Dabi was sitting behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist as he gave her directions to their destination in an irritated tone. Ammit assumed he was probably a little peeved because she didn't trust him enough to let him drive, of course she was right not to considering the last time Dabi drove anything he crashed a truck full of body lotion into a lamp post.
“Stop.” Dabi said suddenly, sending a shiver down Ammit's back. To Ammit, his voice was so sharp and clear that she could probably be able to hear him at a death metal concert.
Ammit quickly parked on the side of a bridge, it was far too late in the night to be too concerned about passing cars. Dabi jumped off of the motorcycle, almost causing Ammit to lose her balance.
“Watch it meathead.” Ammit hissed before she hopped off herself. “Now what did you want to show me?”
“Come on.” Dabi said and walked over to the edge of the bridge.
Ammit followed him and looked down at the ground below to see a small river flowing under the bridge. It was surrounded by flowers of all kinds and colors, it was a beautiful sight to behold but Ammit knew that it wasn't something Dabi would try to show her.
“Do you know what this place means to me?” Dabi asked.
“No.”
“This is where Toya Todoroki died.” Dabi said as he tossed a pebble into the river. “This is where he decided that he didn't want to be a part of this world anymore.”
“Who's Toya?” Ammit asked. She tilted her head a bit then watched as the pebble fell into the water.
“Maybe this will be the place where Ammit Puntish dies to.” Dabi said as if Ammit hadn't said anything.
Ammit froze and then slowly looked up at Dabi with a blank expression on her face.
