To tell you the truth, I'm much more interested in Abraham and Emma's relationship than Jacob and Emma's relationship. I really do like the book, but I think it would be really interesting if Ransom Riggs had based the books around Abraham and his going through the war as well as killing off Hollows, and how his relationship with Emma had strained from him being gone all the time.

I went for a more 1920's look than anything else, and I really tried to stick a Tim Burton esque style to it but failed.
