So sorry to bother you again but I've downloaded UTAU-Synth and it doesn't come with the folder, only the application...

Is it possible to make an utau if you're a mac user?

Yes, it's basically the same procedure. It's not neccesary for the Voicebanks to be in the voice folder, which UTAU-Synth doesn't have. You can just go to the project properties tab and select the VB folder from wherever it is.

You can just copy and paste an oto from another utau if your really desperate. But try to ask some of the people on the vocaloid forums.

Japanese obviously, and it looks like they've got a lot of unneeded extras. Β An actual full english reclist would be quite large. Β And CVVC.

Hmm none of the .usts work so far with my UTAUloid why is that?
π: 0 β©: 1
Laufeyon In reply to Akemi1999 [2011-10-08 23:47:53 +0000 UTC]
Hm... Is your UTAUloid's voicebank in Romaji or Hiragana? Also, does your UTAUloid have an oto.ini and .frq files? Oh, and did you import, then export .vsq files and covert them into .ust files?
π: 0 β©: 1
Akemi1999 In reply to Laufeyon [2011-10-25 21:49:27 +0000 UTC]
none of that makes sense _._

Oh sorry... I get to caught up in things, I forget who I am talking to. Oh well. My guess the reason why the .ust files are not working for you is because you have are using a voicebank that can't read Japanese characters or can't read Romaji characters. I hope this comes out a little bit better than what I first said. There is a UST translator/converter program out there too.

I'm confused, most of the sounds in the second 'paragraph' don't exist in Japanese. Are they extras for an UTAU to speak English somewhat better than a plain CV voice bank?

π: 0 β©: 1
Laufeyon In reply to FireIceKei [2011-09-02 18:14:02 +0000 UTC]
What you do is make a folder and title it "UTAU". Next, put all software that comes with the UTAU program. Next, download the file and extract it to the "UTAU" folder. Open UTAU, and bang, there is the English patch. Keep your UTAU program in that folder. If you take it out, it will be in Japanese again.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this to you but you put Yo Ye Yi Yo Yu, and should it be Ya Ye Yi Yo Yu? Other then that little misstake this a good reference for sounds you need to record when making your own Utau. I noticed the error while recording the sounds, and just changed it to Ya when I said it. I just thought i might mention it if you or someone else didnt notice.
