...I can't believe that I was able to color this! 
I know there's probably a million mistakes, but give me a break it my fist time ever at coloring with Gimp.
(btw Gimp is AWESOME!!!)---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you can see I changed the pic a bit from it's original form, but I like this one a lot better!
For those of you who don't know, this is Severus Snape dressed in what I say is his Death Eater robes.

Please, if you have any tips on coloring please share them with me for I'm new at it and need all the help that I can get.

GIMP is awesome, but it made my computer slow down way too much, so I'm with Painter now!
Anyways, good work. The first time I tried myself at coloring something I sucked so hard I'm almost tempted to delete the deviation from my gallery, hahaha ^^

OMG, you've finished it. And it looks fricken awesome for a first try on GIMP. 
Just some advice I'd like to give you about the black color of the whole picture...
I can see you've had a little trouble differentiating the black hair and the black robe (right?). My small advice would be choose a black color that's LIGHTER than the black outline, get me?
