Oh, I forgot to answer you before. xD The names are from two different languages. I didn't really pay attention to which ones; I just wanted something that means Blood Snow that sounded nice together.

And, yeah...I kind of do that, only through either my stories, roleplaying, or just simple thoughts in my head. It's fun to get to know your characters. You make their base, and basically a person is born, and you get to know them by spending time with them.
