It's a little pet peeve of mine when people don't even acknowledge that their opinions are just that--opinions.You know the type... Just because they think something, it suddenly becomes the popular belief and undeniable fact based on what little, if any research they've done to form their opinion.
This stamp goes out to all those lovely people who continue to act as if their opinion is fact simply because they say it is.
Let's hope they work on getting over themselves.

I think an even bigger problem is when someone states an opinion and someone jumps on then claiming its not a fact.
"The color red doesn't look very nice"
"That's just your opinion though"
of course it's a bloody opinion. That's why it was said in the first place.

That irks me a bit as well, but I have come across some people who will state their opinion and through conversation on whatever topic reveal that in their mind, what they think is the ONLY right way of thinking about it.
The main example I have is a person who insisted that American cartoons were superior to anime in every way with the reasons being things that were totally open to a person's opinion. This same person then went on to shoot down every response given that said otherwise while making some very uninformed statements.
That bugs me a bit more than people who point point out when an opinion is clearly an opinion (well... sometimes).

Anime talk about death, friendship, REAL love, homosexuality and violence.
American cartoons usuallyΒ talk about talking animals that do stupid things.
So, anime = thousand times better than American cartoons. Or at least, I think so.

I know such a person and he is really awful type of person.He don`t recognize others` opinion and behave like a dictator in his site which is the reason to leave it.

By the same token, there's people who say that a fact is an opinion because they don't want it to be a fact. Like, 'Earth is more than 6,000 years old' or 'Humans descended from apes.'
But yes, as far as personal taste in aesthetics and hobbies, all that is subjective and opinion based, I agree.
