I'm doing pretty well, thanks ^_^ Aw that makes me feel so great!! I am still trying to get used to doing commissions, it's so nice to hear people are happy with them x) I still get nervous that I will screw them up somehow lol ^_^'

Ahhh don´t be. The only way you may be "screwing up" is by being rude to your commissioners (I had that one time and I regret taking that commishion because it was very expensive). I´ve never done a commission before but I guess I´m not that good yet and I need to practice some more But you´ve really done a great job!

I've seen your art and it's definitely very good, I think you'd be awesome at commissions ^_^ I started out doing requests and contests first because it was no-pressure and helped me get the hang of drawing other people's ideas x)
aw, and that sounds really sucky! I've had bad luck with people not paying and such, but I figure I can't let that discourage me forever xP You've definitely been the most generous commissioner I've had! Having a good experience like that is really motivating for an artist

You think? Awwwww, thanks! Ohhh and hahaha you´re welcome! You art was definetely worth the price! I mean people shouldn´t get paid below their value. And you are doing a great job! The 15 € were only approriate! At first I also thought about offering commissions which are low-priced but right now I´m off that track. If you spend a lot of hours on a drawing, you also may charge at least 15 € - that´s what I think. Of course there are people who charge very much for things they do in half an hour (my commish was drawn in 30 mins and she charged me 43 €... and it didn´t look at all like my charactres. And she was pretty bitchy when I told her that...).
And also I heard people don´t find commissioners attractive who offer very low prices. So, keep up the good work and don´t be afraid to want something as a reward when you work your ass off with a picture. At least, that´s what I think.

I draw things mostly for the enjoyment, so it takes the pressure off of the payment part x). I let the commissioner decide what they're willing to offer and I take it or leave it, makes things pretty interesting xP But I've taken offers all the way from like 200 points to 20 dollars, to be honest it all depends on the person's attitude and how interested in their character/project. If a person offered me 50$ but made a list of demands or I wasn't interested in the project, I would definitely turn it down haha. And sometimes I just draw other people's characters for the pure fun of it and don't want any money xD

43 sounds super overpriced to me, especially if she didn't fix any mistakes! I would've been pretty pissed haha. That was really generous of you though to go through with paying her, I mean if it was me I wouldn't have gone full-price unless she put more effort into it x(

Hmm that´s a good approach, as well. I did a lot of requests some time ago and it definetely improved my skills. But it was hard for me to motivate myself, so I dropped making requests for a while. And yes, I agree! If the charactres you should draw are nice, it´s very easy to be motivated! Hihihi

Yeah, motivation can be a huge factor with requests x) It can make or break a project!
Keep up the awesome work with your art though; I can always see the improvement in your gallery and it's very cool ^_^

haha you're welcome!! yeah I should probably comment more on your pictures but I can recognize that you're improving ^_^
If you ever want a critique of one of them just let me know! Having people pick my drawings apart and giving me a review has helped me a lot.

I use Photoshop but I'm an amateur so I can't really use everything in Photoshop...

I had an old version of photoshop and it confused me too... I used Gimp a ton when I started out digital. It's totally free and you can download it online x)
