Description
Hywings are a species separated into two sub-species, Steampunk and Pirate. The Hywing subspecies hate each other, and they advise their young to stay away from the other side.

Steampunks:
Steampunks are workers who usually build things. Most of their territory is on land, with a river cutting through it as a water source. At least one young from each Steampunk family is sent to the border wall every day to guard the territory from the Pirates. If a Pirate is seen, the young Steampunk is supposed to set off an alarm after checking if the Pirate is of any danger. The other young are taught how to build with gold and iron, or sent off to mine materials for the builders. They are usually brown or a smoky gray, with gold fur on their mane, wings, ears, or as patterns.

Pirates:
Pirates have a different method of finding gold and silver. Some of their young are sent off to find treasure, while others are taught to fish. Most of their territory is on water, and they tend to live on large ships. Occasionally, one or two young from each ship is sent to scout out the border and look for any threatening Steampunks. If they find one, they are taught to immediately attack and to try to chase the Steampunks back to the other side of the wall. The captain of each ship is in charge of choosing mates, jobs, and which job each young gets. The captains are voted upon in a fair election to decide who will be the captain of the ship. The main ship, on the other paw, is where Nobles are higher-power Pirates live. The captain of the main ship is decided by a duel. Pirates are usually blue, blue-gray, and red.

No one from either side is permitted to leave the area of the territories. Anyone caught leaving from either side is executed. Because of how heavily guarded the territories are, very few make it out. Nobody knows what's outside of the territories, but they are taught to fear it.

The looks of a Hywing dependa on its rarity. If, say, a Hywing is Uncommon, it can include any features from Common or Uncommon. If a Hywing is Rare, it can include features from all three rarities. If it is common, it can only include common features.
