Just a quick picture of the two rivals from my Pokemon Fanfic.

Alex is the young man on the left and his rival Tristan is the young man on the right. They are rivals and very different from each other.

Alex is the son of Ash and May and is currently on a journey with his companions. His hometown is Pallet Town, where he lives with his parents and his younger twin sisters, Amy and Mia. Alex tends to charge headfirst into battle, however he is very good at thinking on his feet. Alex is very outgoing, brave and passionate, he is easily excited. He dreams of becoming a great trainer like his father, Ash.

Tristan is the son of Misty and Tracey. Like Alex, he is on a journey to become a great trainer. His hometown is Cerulean City, where he lives with his parents and elder sister, Rain. He is very clever and aloof, preferring to be alone on his travels. He thinks before he acts and always seems to be a move or two ahead of Alex, he plans each of his attacks carefully, unlike Alex who thinks on the spot. He dislikes people who talk too much, which is part of the reason he doesn't get along with Alex.

The two boys are roughly the same age and consider each other as rivals. Alex openly calls Tristan his rival, however Tristan tells Alex he simply sees him as an annoyance. Despite what he says, Tristan considers Alex a top rival on his journey.

Let the rivalry of the next generation begin!
