warm like soup!
and yes... they love warm warm warm! kraken tends to stay in the water most of the time, but indiana will bask in the heat lamp until his little shell is hot! (he's not in ANY danger of cooking, but he does like it warm!) my big turtle "turtle" will do the same. they're reptiles so they get their heat from the environment... ambient heat....
