One bright an sunshiney day in a land where cartoon characters dwell, there was a kitty who had a bit of a problem. Cartoons were in two groups in this land; those who had premiered in a show for thousands to love, and those who hadn’t. The little kitty was in the latter group. And that really bummed him out! So what if he was “too hard to animate”? The kitty wanted to make everyone smile and laugh and feel joy! So… If he couldn’t be in a show, he’d go to the audience themselves! He never really thought of where the audience was until he tried to go to them. But…. He couldn’t seem to find the audience! He looked high- he looked low- and nothing!
So, he decided to use his cartoony powers and create a sort of wormhole, one that would take him straight to the audience. And when he stepped through it- there he was! In the real world!
Sinensis (was that his name? wowie! he had a name now! he’d just been “unnamed project” before-) went about his normal ways but drew much attention. He had the ability to do anything- well. Anything that you could think that could happen in a cartoon. Squashed paper flat? He can pump himself full of air and be fine again. An inordinate amount of items in a weird space? Check his hair! Sound effects? Of course!
The cat had gained the audience he so craved. People adored his silly antics and grew to love the jovial cartoon. He was a little piece of childhood in the real world.

- Sinensis does have a few cat habits; such as meowing for attention when you’re the busiest, batting at the evil red fairy that bolts around, purring, kneading where he sleeps, and licking to clean himself (well- mostly. he does take showers too).
- Sinensis has many friends without the same kid-friendly moral ethics he does. In fact, Sinensis seems to be friends with a lot of bad people. They enjoy his innocence and happy demeanor. If you hurt him, expect the wrath of many upset criminals.
- Sinensis can put on glasses and go into a “smart” mode. This mode speaks much more eloquently and generally is used when Sinensis wants to do something that requires care or a more fine hand. They both share knowledge and memories, but feel like the other is separate from them.
- Sinensis is highly allergic to milk and milk products. As in, he will need to go to the hospital if he eats or drinks anything milk-related. He has an epi-pen for this and knows many dairy-free recipes.
- Sinensis is much smarter than he lets on. He knows how to solve complex math problems, a larger vocabulary than many, the intricacies of people’s emotions, and many other things that many would think to be above the intelligence level of a “silly cartoon”.
- Sinensis is more of a slapstick humor comedian but can do stand up and other types of comedy.
- Sinensis is very supportive of his “little brother”, Ichabod’s , wants to be taken seriously and always brings him books on the things he’s studying currently when he goes to visit him.
