Description
So, another pic of Revelcindra aka my Red Queen (with absolutely no affiliation to the famous Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland books > my Red Queen is called that simply because she has red hair, and because in the beginning she didn't even have a name). This time she's wearing a bloody red outfit, most fitting to her character.

Again, lots of problems while making this. It all started out as an experiment in greyscale... which soon turned out as something I really disliked, it just isn't "me". Sure, getting lights and shadows is great in that technique but I can do that already with colours from the start. Also, layering colours on greyscale is NUTS! Nothing turns out the colour I actually want them to be, everything looks flat and "lifeless", and I ended up painting several more layers on top of the first colour layer simply because it just wasn't any good on its own. That said, I will use greyscale again but only on areas that I'm not certain what colour they ought to be from the get-go, so I can experiment with different colours later on without having to repaint the whole thing every time. ...Making hair in greyscale is a PAIN IN DA BUTT. Seriously. It just turns out way too flat no matter what highlights or shadows I added... Also, since I didn't have any colours from the beginning and only added them later on, AND MERGED THE LAYERS (mental note: don't do that too early), there were areas that after colouring turned out not to look good... so go back and REDO 20 BLOODY LAYERS!
So, all in all, this greyscale thing took me more time to finish that my normal technique...

As to what is happening in the pic, here are some thoughts on that...

1. Half way through this pic, looking at the colours, she sort of started to remind me of an evil fairy godmother of Yule tide...  She'd be like: "Don't piss me off or I'll eat your cookies and prank your gifts!" Or: "Oh, so you want a gift from me? Sure thing honey: here's your very own portal straight to the underworld. Everyone there is just dying to spend time with you!"

2. "Walls never borhered me anyway!" (Admit it, you just sang that line in your head!)

3. "Are you absolutely certain you wish to upset my delicate mental status with your negative attitude?"  She's like, come at me bro, I can best you anyway.

Or she could just be showing off her necromantic skills...
