In this frozen getaway in the middle of nowhere, it’s comforting to know that warmth and solace can be found in a log fire, Christmas tree and maybe a couple of friends. Though I could be guessing here…
The level of details found are quite inviting even in this frozen hell, with a gorgeous dark blue for the nightfall, great smudges and brushwork to detail the trees in the background, and lovely woodwork in the foreground. The snowman adds a nice touch to the Christmas festivities, as well.
Given when this was submitted though, I could’ve imagined seeing just a touch of fireworks going off beyond the trees, to add some beautiful colour to the show. That’s just my belief on people keeping their Christmas decorations out beyond the New Year, but that’s neither here nor there.
Make no mistake though, this is quite beautiful in its own way. A great piece of work that definitely represents Christmas and everything we hold dear about it. Keep it up!

Эм... дык я и так делаю все кистями которыми я пользуюсь, или я что то не правильно понимаю?
По сути 95% здесь сделано обычной круглой кистью в Sai, ну и 5% это быстроляпы текстурными кистями в шопе)

I really love this piece and I like how you placed a scene inside the house itself.

Even if the place has "settled" in a bit over the years and could use a little fixing up, it looks fantastic and probably more sturdy for it. More importantly, it looks like a quiet and warm place to get away and just enjoy the pure spirit of the season. (If anything, too warm perhaps because they needed to open the door for cool air; though at the same time it seems like it's not too frigid outside because some water is still flowing.) The colors of the cabin and interior make a nice warm spot in the middle of all the calmness of the cold and snow, all the more magical under the moonlight. The cute snowman out front adds the cheer and happiness of the occupant to the scene as well. Wonderful work.
