Er... Innocently walking past the Bahamut was I when I... er... *kicks self*Anyways, I can't believe I ended up making fanart of a game I love so much, something I never really do (perhaps I played too much?
) But er... its not as popular as the other Final Fantasys is it? I wonder why? (perhaps, because it doesn't have any sappy love-y-ness or dramatically emo teary scenes? Methinks that made me love it more!

[Gak! I can't believe I finished something in 2 hours?! (...actually I can. It's that bad. X'D But I'm surprisingly fond of it? I'll move it to scraps later.
)]Sooo... one of those very random doodles that popped up while hacking and slashing away futilely at Yiazmat. Out of all the little stories, one of the few I loved the most was Basch and Gabranth's. How I love knights!
And I was curious about Gabranth even before I started playing. (The armour!) Though, I guess I loved all the charries in their own ways (even Vaan...).I wish Reks had lived though. X( Beh...

Oh so you MUST have seen him! In Nalbina raging over Basch, fussing over Larsa, meeting Vayne (and ofcourse, what I was referring to - when he stabbed Reks in the beginning XD )!

I was unimpressed with the game to the point of abandoning it after two hours.
Seriously, once you've played Oblivion, all linear RPGs lose their charm.

Triple H? 
Heh... I loved it. It made me abandon all things in meh life and just settle down permenantly in front of meh PS2 for months when it first came out. X'D But I guess that's because I don't mind linear rpgs (could any game be more linear than FFT?! X'D). It's the story that matters!
I saw Oblivion for PS3. So it is good?

Oooh...Basch...I think he's one of my favorite chars. Well...aside from the Mr. Pretty-boy thief...that I like for obvious reasons. Still...Basch rocks too. Tho....I need to finish that game. TT Stopped playing when I got busy with work a couple months ago, and haven't done much since. TT
Anyway...for the picture - the sketchyness works well with all the motion in it. I love being able to see the path of the weapons and such. Great job too on the clothes/armor and the facial features. Really...Basch looks so exactly like himself here. ^^

Mr. Pretty-boy Thief = Vaan, right?
Surprisingly I really did not like Vaan much the first time I played it. I found him to be the least likable in the party (maybe because I kept comparing him to Reks [and declaring 'your brother got all the good looks, you poor soul! D:' ]).

Vaan, yup. Well, I'm a sucker for any good-looking thief really...for obvious reasons. ^_^
Tho I agree about the hero who's not a hero...I like how Vaan mostly acts his age and a little immature and selfish and such.
And yeah...I loved Reks too. I started playing the game having just seen the trailer and game cover...and was like...wait...where's Vaan? Why am I playing this random guy? But then realized that Reks was actually really good-looking and a cool character too. Then, just when I decided I really liked him, he had to go get stabbed...like wth...not fair. T_T
And the doodle-ish-ness of your picture makes it look all the more awesome. Like concept art or something. XP

And that totally summed up my reaction to Reks' death! XD Actually, I half expected Vaan (and Kytes too, just because he was there) to die some tragic death at the hands of the rats following the deaths of all the good looking guys. XDD
I kept hoping Reks would stay alive somehow until the Nalbina scene happened.

I`m just always very sceptical with Final Fantasy games.. >>;; hard core suikoden lover here and all...>>;

XD To some extent I'm a hardcore Suikoden lover too. But meh love for the Ivalice games overshadows that.
In some ways it reminds me a bit of suikoden? Maybe because all the npcs are so delightful to talk to! But storywise, maybe Suikoden might be more likely to get you all involved, choked up and weeping your eyes out. (Strangely, I think... I still prefer FFXII's a bit more though
